Your chats stay on your device
ChatKeep processes your chat export entirely on your device, inside your browser. The chat file, its messages, names, phone numbers and photos are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. When you share a chat to the installed app on Android, the file is kept in your browser's local storage on the phone only until it is opened.
What we do keep
- Anonymous counters: daily totals of page views, previews created and clicks on the buy buttons. No cookies, no IP address, no device ID and no chat content are stored with them.
- Waitlist emails: if you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the option you chose, the page language, the date and your country (derived from the connection by our hosting provider). We use it only to tell you when the full PDF is available. Ask us any time to delete it.
Technical requests
Your browser downloads the page, the fonts and, if your chat contains emoji, the matching emoji images from this site. These requests don't include your message text. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard connection data to deliver the site securely.
Payments
When paid PDFs launch, payments will be handled by a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record. We will not see or store your card details.
