How to export a chat (3 steps)
⚠️ Don't open or unzip the .zip file. Save it (iPhone: Save to Files), then tap Choose chat file in ChatKeep and pick the .zip.

Open the chat, tap ⋮ (top right) → More → Export chat.

Choose "Include media" for photos, or "Without media" for a smaller file.

Open the chat and tap the contact or group name at the top.

Scroll down and tap "Export Chat", then "Attach Media" or "Without Media".

Is my chat uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read and converted by your own browser. ChatKeep has no server that receives your messages, and you can even use it offline after the first visit.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It works in Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android, and on computers. On Android you can install it and share the chat straight from WhatsApp.
Are photos included?
Yes, if you export "with media" and choose the .zip file. Photos appear inside the chat bubbles.
Why only 200 messages for free?
The free preview lets you check the result before paying.
Is the PDF valid as legal evidence?
It is a faithful, readable copy of your export, but rules differ by country. Ask your lawyer; keep the original export file too.
Which languages and formats are supported?
